If you create learning data by running good products, you can also deal with rare or unknown defective products. Useful for design and cost reduction.

■Problems when installing image inspection equipment

- First of all, it is difficult to set up for visual inspection. ・I need defective products to collect data, but I can't find them easily. ・During image inspection, it is easy to be influenced by the environment, so it is necessary to take measures to block light and improve lighting. ・Resetting is required every time a defect occurs. - Settings that can make accurate judgments cannot be found for complex inspection targets such as metal products.

■Reduction of setting adjustment costs

AI eliminates the need for examining inspection algorithms and inspection settings, which traditionally took time. Unlike traditional procedural (rule-based) image processing, it is easy to set up and is effective in making decisions under complex and easily changing conditions. Just take pictures of good products and click the "Learn" button. AI automatically adjusts configuration parameters.

■Supports various defects

The only operation required for learning is to feed 100 to 1,000 non-defective products, and the AI ​​will then learn the pattern of non-defective products. Press the good product collection button and send the product onto the conveyor while applying a trigger from the PLC. Or press the good product photo button to take a photo of the good product.

■Versatility, reduced learning costs

Since it detects parts that are "different from non-defective products", it can also handle unknown defects. ``I want to detect foreign objects, but the foreign objects vary widely.'' ``I don't know what defect patterns will occur.'' It is especially difficult to anticipate all possible defect patterns when it comes to natural materials and metal products. With good product learning, if an image contains information other than what is normally included in a good product, it can be widely detected as a ``non-good product.''
