Features

■Supports multicast control

Equipped with rich L2 multicast functions such as IGMP/MLD snooping. Host-based IGMP/MLD snooping allows you to serve multiple users per physical interface, and ISM VLAN allows you to register multicast streams within a multicast VLAN to save bandwidth on the network backbone. This product also supports QoS functionality and provides high-quality multicast services.

■Highly reliable network

It is possible to build a highly reliable network by implementing loopback detection, link aggregation, ring protocols, etc. It also supports redundant power supply, so even if there is a problem with the main power supply, power can be supplied. Furthermore, with the redundant power supply, it is possible to supply power to two DGS-3000s from one redundant power supply. Additionally, this product is equipped with OAM functions, CFM functions, cable diagnostic functions, etc., making maintenance and troubleshooting more efficient.

■Strong security and high availability

Various security functions can be used, including 802.1X/MAC address authentication/WEB authentication, IP-MAC port binding, ARP spoofing prevention, and compound authentication. In addition to these features, the D-Link Safeguard Engine increases the reliability and availability of the switch to prevent unauthorized attacks and overloading the switch with viruses/worms.

■Complete IPv6 functions

This series supports IPv6 with management functions, security functions, multicast functions, ACL functions, etc. in order to seamlessly migrate to an IPv6 environment, and can also be used in an IPv6/IPv4 dual stack environment.
