About This Product

Features

■Gigabit layer 3 stackable smart managed switch

The DGS-1520 series is a Gigabit layer 3 stackable smart managed switch that can provide flexibility, redundancy, security, and network communication with stable performance in medium-sized networks from SMB to enterprise. This series consists of four products: DGS-1520-28, DGS-1520-52, and DGS-1520-28MP and DGS-1520-52MP, which are equipped with a 2.5G compatible power supply port. All products are equipped with two 10G SFP+ slots and can be used as a physical stack/10G uplink.

■Secure and comfortable network environment

It supports ring configuration redundancy that supports the ITU-TG.8032 compliant E-RPS protocol and metro Ethernet functions such as Q-in-Q, allowing for flexible network construction. It is equipped with support functions that facilitate troubleshooting, such as loop detection/interruption functions and cable diagnosis functions. In addition, various security functions such as 802.1X/MAC address authentication/WEB authentication, IP-MAC port binding, ARP spoofing prevention, and compound authentication can be used.

■10G technology

This series is equipped with two SFP+ slots that support 10G to support high-speed backbone networks. It supports physical stacking of up to 8 units with 10GSFP+ slots, and it is possible to select the bandwidth up to 80G.

■Equipped with 2.5G compatible power supply port

DGS-1520-28MP/52MP is equipped with four 2.5GPoE+ ports. It also supports IEEE802.3at, which is required for most Wi-Fi6 compatible access points, and can supply power.

■Zero-touch provisioning

This series is equipped with a ZTP (Zero Touch Provisioning) button. When you add the DGS-1520 series to your network, you can press the ZTP button to automatically obtain an IP address from a DHCP server and obtain firmware and configuration from a TFTP server.
