■Mechanism and features of electrolytic ionized water generator
At our company, we generate alkaline electrolyzed water and acidic electrolyzed water using a method called electrolysis. The electrolyzed ionized water generator "TIWS-IW06C" uses our own special electrode, so it can continuously and stably generate alkaline electrolyzed water with a pH of about 10.5 at a maximum rate of 6L/min. .
The biggest feature is that alkaline electrolyzed water can be produced without the use of electrolytes such as sodium carbonate or additives (depending on the quality of the raw water). It also has a built-in water softener, so you can use tap water in Japan as is.
■Applications of electrolyzed ionized water generator
Alkaline electrolyzed water can be used for degreasing and cleaning products contaminated with machining oil, cleaning to remove foreign substances such as machining debris, and diluting water-soluble machining oil. For cleaning purposes, by changing the cleaning solution to alkaline electrolyzed water in processes that traditionally used cleaning agents, it is possible to reduce running costs and environmental impact. It can also be used to clean factory floors and as cooling water.
Acidic electrolyzed water is produced using a special electrolyte and can be used primarily for acid cleaning. It is effective for removing rust and simple welding burns.
■Functions of electrolyzed ionized water generator
It has a built-in electrical conductivity sensor and flow rate sensor, and the current state of flowing water can be displayed on the touch panel in real time. There are multiple operation modes, including an external control mode that is controlled from an external device such as a cleaning device, a specified amount generation mode that generates a specified amount of alkaline electrolyzed water, and a timer operation mode that stops the device at a specified time.
It also has a function that lets you know in advance when it's time to replace the filters and electrodes, so you don't have to panic when it's time to replace consumables.
■Electrolyte addition function
Our electrolyzed water generator also comes with a function to add electrolyzed water such as potassium carbonate as standard. It can be used when you want to generate a higher pH than without additives or when the electrical conductivity of raw water is low. However, adding electrolyte may lead to problems such as water marks on the workpiece or crystallization of components within the equipment, which may adversely affect sliding parts, so careful judgment is required.
