■Oil separation and liquid filtration methods in conveyor-type cleaning machines
Conveyor-type cleaning machines, which are often used in-line, bring large amounts of press oil and processing oil into the equipment, which requires accurate filtration of the liquid. Oil-based processing oil will float on the surface of the cleaning tank, so use an oil skimmer or similar tool to remove the floating oil. For fine oil droplets floating in the cleaning tank, we use a coalescer type oil/water separator to collect the oil.
For water-soluble dirt, we use a volume reduction device to concentrate and collect it to maintain the cleanliness of the cleaning tank.
■Drying method in conveyor type washing machine
We use a combination of blowers and hot air drying to reliably dry the workpiece. For blowers, we use different types such as Roots blowers and medium pressure multi-stage blowers depending on the purpose. Compressor drainers use wind pressure to blow water away, but blower drainers blow water droplets depending on the air volume. In the drying process, hot air with a blowing temperature of approximately 100℃ is sent into the equipment to dry the workpiece.
■Spray pressure and nozzle type of conveyor type washer
For general degreasing in metal cleaning, we select a spray pressure of about 0.2 to 0.4 MPa. It is highly effective in removing press oil and cutting chips. If there are chips, etc. attached to the hole machining area, it is necessary to use a plunger pump or hydracel pump to reliably target cleaning with high-pressure spray. The positioning accuracy of the workpiece is also important, so it is essential to devise a better structure.
We use different cleaning nozzles, such as fan-shaped nozzles, full conical nozzles, and direct nozzles, depending on the purpose. Appropriate placement according to the nozzle spray angle is also important.
■About the cleaning machine configuration of the net conveyor type cleaning machine
This is a through-type spray cleaning machine that uses a SUS net conveyor. It is suitable for in-line cleaning in the press process because it can process the workpiece continuously from inlet to outlet, from cleaning to drying. Generally, it is a multi-tank type, and there are two to three cleaning processes. After that, the water is drained using a blower, and then the drying process begins.
Because the workpiece is transported by a net conveyor, there is no need to use jigs, and it is possible to handle workpieces of various shapes.
