About This Product

This product is an in vivo transfection (nucleic acid introduction) reagent for delivering siRNA/miRNA into living tissues and efficiently introducing it into cells by systemic administration to mice. Atelocollagen, the main component of AteloGene®, is positively charged, so it electrostatically forms a complex when mixed with nucleic acids at an appropriate concentration and ratio. Complex formation can prevent nucleic acid degradation by nucleolytic enzymes in vivo.

Tail vein administration of nucleic acids, intraperitoneal administration of nucleic acids

■Features

- Atelocollagen, the main component of AteloGene, forms a complex with siRNA/miRNA, resulting in long-lasting RNAi effects in vivo. ・Because "AteloGene" is made from atelocollagen, it is non-toxic. ・Because "AteloGene Systemic Use" does not gel, it is possible to efficiently deliver siRNA/miRNA to the whole body and introduce nucleic acids by administering it through the tail vein.

■Kit contents

・①AteloGene Systemic Use prefilled syringe (600μL for 5 doses including loss during preparation) 600μL x 2 bottles ・②10×siRNA buffer (can also be used for miRNA) 3mL×1 bottle ・③Sterilized water 3mL x 1 bottle ・④2 2mL micro tubes ・⑤ 2 disposable syringes ・⑥4 18G injection needles ・⑦2 26G injection needles

■Required equipment and reagents other than the kit

・siRNA/miRNA (PAGE-purified or HPLC-purified grade like siRNA/miRNA for AteloSiLence in vivo) ・Container for siRNA/miRNA preparation (sterilized, RNase free) ・Cold storage equipment (crushed ice, cold blocks, etc.) ・Rotator (one that can be stirred by tipping, TAITEC RT-5, Bibby scientific SB3, etc.) ・Pipetter and tips (sterile, RNase free) ・High-speed refrigerated centrifuge ・Anesthetics
