About This Product

FibColl Highly Permeable Atelocollagen Insert for 24well is a new cell culture insert that uses a membrane made only of atelocollagen. Unlike other companies' products that have plastic membranes coated with collagen, the pores are not blocked and the fibrous structure of atelocollagen makes it possible to culture cells in an environment that mimics that of the living body. The micropore structure between atelocollagen fibers allows molecules over 600kDa to permeate, making it suitable for barrier function evaluation and co-culture.

■Features

・Membranes made of atelocollagen are permeable to molecules over 600kDa. ・It is possible to create a barrier function evaluation model based on the formation of tight junctions in epithelial cells. ・This is a hang-type cell culture insert designed for ease of use, taking into consideration the operability of medium exchange and membrane recovery after culture. ・Since the membrane is biodegradable, it can also be used for cell sheet transplantation.
