About This Product

3D Honeycomb Boosted is a carrier for high-density three-dimensional culture (3D culture) made of atelocollagen processed into a sponge-like scaffold (scaffolding material) with honeycomb-like through holes. The size is Φ5mm x height 5mm, which fits in a 96well plate, and allows cell culture on a scale of 10^6 cells, which is comparable to a 35mm dish.

■Features・The honeycomb structure facilitates the supply of nutrients and release of waste products, allowing cells to grow throughout the inner surface of the pores.
・It has high resilience to return to its original state even after compression.
・Cells can be easily recovered by trypsin treatment.
・As it is biodegradable, it can also be used for transplantation.
・It is immersed in PBS, so there is no need for static electricity countermeasures or defoaming.
