About This Product

■Connection from feeding fiber to process fiber

The ability to couple light from a feeding fiber to a process fiber greatly expands the capabilities of IPG's fiber lasers. Typical low-mode kW class feeding fibers have a core diameter of 50 microns, while process fibers can vary up to several hundred microns. Optical coupling allows for easy process fiber replacement when switching applications or in case of damage to the process fiber. In the event of accidental damage to the process fiber, the power supply will not be affected.Coupler is available for 12, 25, 50, and 75mm optics. Coupler comes with QBH compatible HLC, QD compatible LCA bayonet and adapter.
