About This Product

A granulator is a machine that mixes plastic resin raw materials and various additives to produce pellets, which are the raw materials for molding to make final products. It was mainly developed for plastic kneading (compounding) and granulation, and contributes to technological innovation and optimization of plastics manufacturing processes.
 
CIM was developed primarily for use in polyethylene kneading and granulation, contributing to technological innovation and optimization of plastic resin manufacturing processes.
  
■Features・CIM (Continuous Intensive Mixer) mainly processes polyethylene resin and can produce higher quality pellets with higher processing capacity.
・CIM is a non-meshing type, high speed rotation, twin screw extruder with support at both ends.
-Product quality can be controlled by adjusting the resin pressure in the kneading part using the "rotary slot bar" installed downstream of the screw kneading part. Compared to the conventional gate valve type, this device is more effective against short passes and intrusion of oxygen from the outside, and achieves more uniform resin kneading.
・Optimal pellet quality can be obtained by using a high-performance rotor that exhibits excellent kneading behavior in the screw rotor section.
・The mixer with support at both ends enables high-speed processing and high throughput of fine powder raw materials.
・The patented horizontally arranged discharge barrel allows the polymer to be smoothly transported from the mixer to the gear pump without stagnation.
・For the resin seal of the mixer, we have adopted a water-cooled maintenance-free melt seal device that does not use conventional gland packing. The molten resin itself prevents resin leakage at the screw tip.
- The end of the mixer barrel and gear pump are firmly connected on a horizontal plane to prevent resin leakage at the connecting flange. The thermal expansion of the mixer barrel is designed to be directed upstream on the mixer side, so that it does not affect the underwater granulation equipment.
