About This Product

■How to handle metal nanoparticles Before use, check whether there is gas inside the bag containing nanoparticles. If there is, poke a small hole in the corner of the bag and slowly apply pressure to release the gas. If the temperature inside the bag starts to rise, wait until it cools down, then repeat the process again. If you put a bag containing nanoparticles in a refrigerator (3℃ -10℃) for a certain period of time, the gas will decrease. Gas in the bag is a very common phenomenon due to the very high catalytic effect of nanoparticles. Once the gas is released, product quality and performance will not be affected in any way. ■Handling precautions ・Avoid vibration and friction with metal nanoparticle powder. ・Store away from moisture, heat, shock, and sunlight. - Metal nanoparticles are extremely dangerous as they can explode or catch fire if handled incorrectly. It should only be handled by people with specialized knowledge. ■Appropriate usage environment Most recommended for use in a glove box sealed with inert gas (nitrogen, argon). Alternatively, it can be used safely in a vacuum environment. When used in the atmosphere, oxygen binds to particles and radiates heat during the oxidation process, resulting in high temperatures that may cause an explosion or ignition. This becomes more dangerous as the particle size decreases. ■Appropriate storage method The product is placed in a bag filled with nitrogen gas, but the nitrogen will escape, so if you leave it as is, the quality will be damaged (oxidation of the particle surface) in about a week. When not in use, store in a vacuum state or fill with nitrogen or Ar gas, and store in a frozen state (recommended below -50°C), even if the package has not been opened. It can be stored for a minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 5 years. (Storage in an inert atmosphere or vacuum is required) ■Dispersion method of nanoparticles Since nanoparticle powder basically forms aggregates (secondary particles), it is necessary to deagglomerate it (reform it into primary particles), which requires experience. ・When used in an aqueous phase Disperse by ultrasonication ・When used in oil phase, use a high shear mixer to disperse ・When using dry powder, use a ball mill to disperse
