About This Product

■Summary

・Measure thermal diffusivity without contact ・A wide range of materials can be evaluated, from organic films to diamonds.

■Features

・Non-contact measurement using laser ・Easy operation, just place the sample ・High degree of freedom in sample shape, allowing you to specify the measurement location ・Wide measurement range from organic films to diamonds ・Absolute value measurement method that allows easy condition setting ・Measurement in horizontal and vertical directions is possible → Check the anisotropy of the sample ・Can convert thermal diffusivity to thermal conductivity and thermal effusivity ・Distribution measurement possible → Evaluate sample defects and unevenness

■Thermophysical property measurement range

It is possible to measure a wide range of materials from organic films to diamonds. In addition, it is now possible to measure high thermal conductivity resins that are difficult to measure. We can also measure double-layer samples and handle difficult-to-process materials.

■Anisotropy of material

Do you understand the anisotropy of the sample? The thermal conductivity of composite materials of fillers (AlN, SiO2, SiC, CNT, etc.) and resins varies greatly depending on the blending ratio, so it is essential to measure the thermal diffusivity. It is also possible to measure resin-based materials.

■Applications

Evaluation of heat dissipation materials for electronic components, evaluation of semiconductor laser electrodes, evaluation of thermoelectric power generation materials, evaluation of coatings for carbide tools, etc.

■Measurement of distribution

Even with the same resin, thermal conductivity changes depending on molding conditions and mold shape.
