About This Product

The lock unit can clamp the shaft at any desired position steplessly. And its axial clamping force works in both directions. Depending on the model, it works on the unclamping side using hydraulic or pneumatic pressure. Then, it functions on the clamp side by spring force or hydraulic pressure. Corresponding load: 10 to 450kN (Custom-made products with larger sizes are also available)

■Basic operations

Normally, this is a device that allows the shaft or piston to slide freely using hydraulic pressure (or pneumatic pressure), and locks it mechanically using spring force (or hydraulic pressure). ・Clamp: The annular wedge moves toward the lock side by spring force. ・Release: The annular wedge moves to the open side by oil or air pressure.
