About This Product
XPass D2 is a compact outdoor RFID reader based on Suprema's latest RFID technology and multi-hardware platform, optimized for centralized access control systems such as Suprema's CoreStation. Multi-form factor technology allows vertical, gang box, and gang box keypad types to all be accommodated.
Featuring dual frequency (125kHz/13.56MHz) RFID technology, XPass D2 also supports mobile cards using the latest mobile communication technologies, NFC and BLE. Built with rugged IP67 dust and water resistance and IK08 impact resistance, it is suitable for harsh environments and outdoor installations.
Features
■Dual frequency, multi-smart card reader
XPass D2 uses dual frequency RFID card technology and supports both LF (125kHz) and HF (13.56MHz) RFID, including all RFID card standards. In addition to fingerprint credentials, XPass D2 supports most types of RFID card standards using a single device, including EM, MIFARE, MIFARE Plus, DESFire EV1/EV2, FeliCa, NFC and BLE.
■Communication with smartphone
With the BioStar 2 mobile card, you can use your smartphone as your authentication key for entry and exit.
■Standardized communication Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP)
When combined with Suprema's intelligent biometric controller, XPass D2 enables a simpler biometric access control system with a level of security similar to that of a centralized system topology. Xpass D2 has received OSDP certification from SIA (Security Industry Association). Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP) enables encrypted two-way communication between readers and controllers.
■Vertical partition type design
At 48mm wide, the XPass D2 is ideal for installation in tight spaces or door frames.
