■Live Finger Detection
BioStation L2 is equipped with Suprema's Live Finger Detection 2.0. Previous biodetection technologies analyzed the dynamically changing patterns, activity, and unnatural characteristics of living and new fingers. In addition to improvements to existing algorithms, the new detection technology includes an engine that uses dual-source imaging to determine activity. Using infrared and white light, the engine blocks fake fingerprints made from a variety of materials.
■Comprehensive attendance management function
BioStation L2 converges the benefits of biometrics into time and attendance applications. Accurate identity verification improves convenience and security for users and administrators. A full capacitive touch keypad and dedicated programmable TA function keys provide the versatility and ease of use of a full color LCD display.
■Powerful quad-core processor
BioStation L2 has the fastest clocked processor implemented in our terminals. It harnesses enormous power to deliver exceptional matching speeds for enterprise-sized user databases. Thanks to this processor, many aspects of performance are improved, including data transfer speed, image processing scalability, and faster fingerprint recognition.
