About This Product

In manufacturing, precision and productivity are important. LaserUltra helps operators do both. With the integrated laser probe, tool geometry can be measured during the process with an accuracy of +/- 2 microns. LaserUltra uses a laser beam to measure the dimensions of ground cutting tools without removing them from the tool grinder. The laser measures both above and below the tool to obtain the absolute tool diameter for maximum accuracy.

■Improved productivity and accuracy

LaserPlus ensures that every tool from the first tool to the last is within tolerance. As a result, waste is reduced and stable processes can be maintained. LaserPlus measures and corrects: ・Outer diameter (OD) ・Suitable with or without taper ・Ball nose profile ・Angle radius profile ・Radius type: Square radius/ball nose ball

■No contact, no damage to tools

One of the strengths of laser probes is their non-contact nature. This is especially important for delicate micro-tools, as they do not come in contact with the tool and therefore cannot be damaged.

■Controlled air blast

A controlled air blast system on the laser unit ensures that coolant and dirt do not interfere with the measuring process. The tools are thoroughly cleaned to ensure accurate measurements.
