About This Product

iView is a system that measures the machined tool while it is held in the work holder inside the grinding machine. An image of the machined tool is captured by the iView camera and compared to the ideal shape created by the iView software. The difference between the ideal and the current state is then automatically corrected during the processing process.

■Features

・Measure tools on the machine with an accuracy of up to 0.002 mm ・Accurate comparison and measurement is possible with the actual cutting tool and the tool profile on the standard ground. ・Eliminates the loss of accuracy of tools, eliminating the loss of accuracy that occurs when tools are transferred between grinding machines and measuring machines

■Measurement inside the machine

Semi-automatic measurement and compensation of profile tools, ball nose and corner r tools in the machine. Tool views can be displayed on the machine screen and can be magnified 100x or 300x.

■Enlargement options

・Enlargement options can be selected from two patterns: ・FX Linear: 90x ~ 360x ・MX/TX Linear: 100x or 300x

■Bottom blade measurement

Bottom blade measurements include clearance width, lip distance, chisel angle, etc. and do not require camera commissioning and setup.
