About This Product

Create 2D tool drawings quickly and easily directly from CIM3D or ToolRoom. ToolDraft, an independent product separate from ToolRoom and CIM3D, now creates 2D drawings in CIM3D (V8.1 and later) by simply clicking the ToolDraft icon. Eliminates the need to export 3D tool images to external, non-tool specific CAD packages. Can be used with minimal CAD drafting knowledge.

■Features

・Display dimensions of all tool features with tolerances - Add text, images and drafting symbols to drawings with sticky notes - User-defined drawing templates can be loaded and saved

■Ability to create finished drawings

Create fully dimensioned tool, wheel, and wheel pack drawings in ToolDraft with multiple views and tolerances by exporting them from ToolRoom or CIM3D.

■Template file

There is an option to create a user-defined template file, which includes document style, page size, text, image and table items.

■Enter dimensions

You can add wide dimension lines to the tool display screen. Dimensions can be changed and can be overwritten. Tolerances are added to all dimensions, either one (upper/lower limits) or both (upper/lower limits +/-), with a name. Lead lines, surface finish sticky notes, and center marks can be added to tool views.
