About This Product

Gear power skiving is revolutionizing the gear manufacturing process. It is 5 to 10 times more efficient than shape milling, more flexible than broach milling, and can produce both internal and external gears. In 2019, twice as many companies were considering investing in new skiving equipment compared to 2018. As the popularity of skiving has increased, the demand for skiving cutters has increased rapidly. ANCA responds to the market and offers comprehensive solutions for manufacturing and forming skiving cutters as part of a comprehensive gear cutting tool package. GCX Linear sets a new benchmark in skiving cutter grinding. Adapted from ANCA's proven, best-in-class CNC grinding machine, GCX Linear adds custom features and completes all operations for skiving and pinion cutters in one setting.

・LinX linear motor technology X, Y, Z axis - In-process dressing, using Acoustic Emission Monitoring System (AEMS) and supervised machine learning algorithms Motor temperature control minimizes machine warm-up time and provides optimal thermal stability during grinding

■Product details

GCXcell Linear has all the functionality and features of GCX Linear, but also has a standard robotic loader. With the option of up to 24 wheel packs, you can have multiple sets of wheels in different tool sizes and types ready to use without having to change them over time. The larger the wheel, the longer the wheel life and the less dressing requirements. As a result, machine setup and idle times are reduced, maximizing productive tool grinding time.

■Motor temperature control (MTC)

MTC is a patent-pending innovation built into the motor spindle drive hardware. GCX Linear's monitored spindle temperature is actively managed and maintained by smart control algorithms.
