Motor temperature control minimizes machine warm-up time and provides optimal thermal stability during grinding
■Motor temperature control (MTC)
MTC is a patent-pending innovation built into the motor spindle drive hardware. GCX Linear's monitored spindle temperature is actively managed and maintained by smart control algorithms.
Significantly reduces machine warm-up time. This allows the grinding tool to start up faster, indicating that the machine has reached thermal stability. This increases productivity and machine utilization.
The thermal stability of the spindle remains constant over time, regardless of changes in spindle load or speed or spindle coolant temperature. This improves the dimensional stability of the grinding result.
