About This Product
A new addition to ANCA's machine lineup, this 4-axis grinder is capable of achieving a surface finish within 0.2ra and tool runout of less than 2 microns. The CPX Linear features a large working space and high-power processing spindle for high productivity in blank preparation and is designed for today's market. CPX Linear's pinch-peel construction provides the strength, stiffness, and thermal stability you expect from ANCA tool grinders.

It also features a touch screen, USB port, and space for a standard keyboard. The height adjustment function based on physical therapy allows the angle to be adjusted to the operator's height.
■Machine control system
ANCA Motion's latest AM5C CNC and AMD5X servo drives can provide all the computing power needed for submicron motion control.
■Tail stock
When grinding elongated tool blanks, additional support is required at the tip of the tool. With long blanks, whipping (deflection) can cause tool damage, so additional support is required to prevent this. The CPX Linear is equipped with a tailstock, or tailstock, to solve this problem.
This tailstock consists of a swivel center with an arm attached to a pneumatically actuated carriage system. This carriage system is designed to be easily removed from the base structure when not in use and reinstalled with minimal setup.
Grinding lengths from 90 to 360 mm (3.54” x 14.1”). Available diameters: 1 to 25.4 mm (0.03”x 1”) *. Carbide and high speed steel blank materials can be used. Setup time when changing arm and rotation center: 15 minutes or less
