About This Product
TapXmicro was designed as a dedicated solution for micro-tap grinding. The 5-axis machine includes all the features needed for unattended production of microtaps. ANCA's iTap software allows programming of most tap geometries. CIM3D verifies tool geometry and machine motion before starting the grinding process. The result is a versatile solution that allows you to confidently produce microtaps even for the most demanding customers.

・M3 – M0.8 micro tap size range
■Versatility for tapping
TapXmicro is compatible with taps from M0.8 to M3 and can completely grind spiral or forming taps in high-speed steel or carbide in one setup. With TapXmicro, you have the flexibility to tackle any job in one machine with a compact footprint.
■Tooling exclusively for tapping
A compensation chuck and CNC tailstock are included for precision center-to-center grinding. Features like a dual dressing system, wheel balancing and robotic tool loading give you confidence in your lights-out production.
■Dedicated software
ANCA's iTap software, in which the tap geometry is entered as a parameter, includes cycles capable of complete machining of all features of all tap types.
