Developed with mass producers in mind, the MX5 Linear gives you the freedom to produce a variety of tools at the same time. The MX5 Linear is a machine that incorporates several of the most important elements of the MX series, including a symmetrical gantry structure that supports the grinding wheel and grinding wheel shaft. A gantry structure that straddles the tool centerline provides additional rigidity for uniform tool accuracy.

The MX Linear series tool grinding machines are designed to meet the needs of tool production equipment for maximum production processing efficiency while maintaining the flexibility required by customers. The machine is equipped with a new technology cylindrical linear motor that allows you to achieve even higher precision and higher efficiency.
■Compact high rigidity design
Small footprint, large work space. During machining, minimizing axis travel leads to shorter cycle times.
■Automation options
RoboMate can be selected for high-volume production, and FastLoad-Mx can be selected for low-volume production.
■Whetstone changer
The MX5 comes standard with a whetstone changer for two whetstone packs, and the MX7 is equipped with a whetstone changer for six whetstone packs. Supports replacement of both the grinding wheel pack and coolant nozzle for maximum production efficiency.

・FastLoad-MX: 245 x Ø 3 mm, 156 x Ø 6 mm, 42 x Ø 16 mm
・RoboMate: 2,520 x Ø 3mm, 1,560 x Ø 6 mm, 462 x Ø 16 mm, 189 x Ø 25 mm
