The FX5 Linear is a machine that meets the needs of those who need more productivity by offering automation and a wide range of options. The FX5 Linear has a grinding wheel shaft output of 12 kW and is equipped with an automatic 2-station grinding wheel changer to increase the number of grinding wheels and the types of tools that can be machined. Additionally, the optional automatic headstock clamping device provides flexibility for machining a wide variety of tools in small quantities and enables unattended operation.

■Product details
The FX series machines are suitable for a variety of jobs, from low-volume to high-volume production, including regrinding and full production. By placing the machine's grindstone on the center line of the C-axis, the influence of heat on the machine can be suppressed. Every part of the machine, including the use of ANCA-designed linear motors, is designed to lend itself to high precision and high productivity, making the operator's life easier.
