About This Product

The new MX7 ULTRA enables mass production of end mills and other cutting tools with the highest precision and quality. The tiny size of a micron is beyond the human eye, but by increasing precision further and moving from micrometers to nanometers, ANCA will give the highest precision and quality to cutting tools on the market. . The combination of new software, hardware, and design features significantly improves surface finish, accuracy, and runout control, resulting in consistent batches from the first grinding tool to the 1,000th tool. A key point in the production process is tool accuracy and consistency. To keep cutting tool runout below a few microns from start to finish, comprehensive tool runout compensation is included as a key element in the package. Also included is LaserUltra, the industry's first in-process measurement and correction to +/-0.002mm, allowing you to stay within specified tolerances throughout production. Motor Temperature Control (MTC) is patented (US PAT. 11,394,331, other patents pending) and uses smart control algorithms to actively manage and maintain the temperature of the motorized spindle. All this provides a versatile solution that provides maximum reliability in the production of high-quality cutting tools for the most demanding needs.

A resolution of 1nm in the linear axis and 1udeg in the rotary axis provides the best surface finish without compromising cycle time.

■Rotary C-axis

New mechanical design of C-axis increases stiffness and ensures consistency and stability in grinding operations

■ToolRoom RN34 software

Software that enables the design and manufacture of complex, high-performance cutting tools to meet the demands of any industry.

■Introducing 1 nanometer axial resolution, the performance of the new MX7 ULTRA machine makes it possible to maintain line form accuracy of all profiles, including ball nose and corner radius end mills, to less than +/-0.002 mm.
