Functions and features of explosion-proof liquid drum shaker
■What is an explosion-proof liquid drum shaker?The explosion-proof liquid drum shaker is a mixing machine that can stir liquid and is compatible with explosion-proof environments.

■Drum rotating machineStirring and mixing of sedimented raw materials is possible by rotating 360° vertically at low speed.

■Compatible with commercially available drumsJIS standard general-purpose drums can be used. We also support SUS drums and plastic drums.

■Safety measuresA safety bar (with interlock mechanism) is standard equipment. 4-sided lattice fence and explosion-proof specifications are also available as options.

■About explosion-proofingEishin's tumbler mixers, drum mixers, and liquid drum shakers use inverter motors with brakes, which control the rotation speed, operate at low speeds when stopped, and stop at the origin. This inverter motor with a brake is not explosion-proof, so you will have to choose from the following two types.

■Pressure-proof and explosion-proof specificationsEquipped with a flameproof explosion-proof motor and a flameproof explosion-proof control panel. However, there are limitations to the functionality as described below.

■No inverter (rotation speed control)The rotation speed is constant. Also, since the stop is an immediate stop, the rotation speed will be as low as 9 rpm, taking into account the mechanical load. (Depends on size)

■No origin stopNo matter where you are facing when the time is up, it will stop at that position. To adjust the position, install an inching button that moves while pressed, and manually return it to the home position.

■Pressure-proof explosion-proof control panelSince non-explosion-proof products cannot be exposed outside, the timer is built into the control panel. When changing the set value, controlled opening/closing (bolt removal/removal) is required. If the control panel can be placed in a safe area, only the control panel can be made from non-explosion proof products. However, as there is no compatible motor for rotation speed control or origin stop, it is not possible to do so as described above.

■Air purge specifications- Supply compressed air, etc. from the outside to the control panel and motor to create positive pressure.
- Air pressure is constantly monitored using a pressure switch, and operation cannot be performed unless air is coming in. If air is cut off during operation, operation will also stop.
・For equipment outside the control panel (for example, limit switches for safety fences, etc.), use explosion-proof products.
・Can be controlled in the same way as non-explosion-proof products, such as variable rotation speed and stopping at the origin.
