About This Product

This product was created by using recycled raw materials as a cost measure against the soaring prices of plastic raw materials, and taking advantage of the yellowing of the tape by turning it black.

Originally, Matsuura Sangyo's record rolls did not come in black, so I came up with the idea of ​​making black record rolls that would look like the records from which record rolls were made, rather than reducing the whiteness. Some records are 5 inches in size, but their diameter is 125 mm. Matsuura Sangyo's record roll also happened to have a diameter of 125mm, so we playfully designed the sticker label to be as close to the record as possible. Also, since we found out that Record Day falls on November 3rd and December 3rd, and this was also the scheduled release date, we decided to release it on December 3rd accordingly.

*Once you start using the tape, you will have to peel off the sticker label, so it will become ``just black tape.''
