About This Product

MTF inspection equipment supports resolution inspection of small portable lenses, surveillance lenses, and fisheye lenses for vehicle-mounted cameras. MTF is measured using the orthographic projection method (back projection method is also possible) and evaluated quickly using the edge function. Adopts an MTF measurement algorithm compliant with ISO12233 and digitizes the measurement results. Stable measurements are possible even under indoor lighting. In addition to the basic specifications of the orthographic projection method, we have also developed an MTF inspection device using the back projection method and have a track record of using it on mass production lines. We can also perform MTF inspection of infrared camera lenses and reflow lenses, which have been in increasing demand in recent years. Please feel free to contact us for more information about our products. function

■MTF measurement

・Measurement of MTF at each measurement point ・Adopts MTF measurement algorithm compliant with ISO12233

■Defocus measurement

Defocus measurement of MTF at each measurement point

■Focal length evaluation

Calculate the focal length of the lens to be tested from the size of the photographed chart and the distance to the object (distance between lens and chart)

■Mechanical function

・Auto Focus function ・Function to maintain high precision parallelism between inspection surface and reference surface

■Eccentricity adjustment

For alignment, scan the light receiving element in the Z direction (focal position), measure the MTF at a specific spatial frequency at the center and periphery, and then find the best image plane from the Z position where the best image was obtained at each measurement point. Adjust the tilt of the photodetector to match the image plane.

■Notes regarding the system of output MTF

In principle, this machine outputs comprehensive frequency characteristics such as the characteristics of the test lens, microscope, electrical system such as CMOS camera, and digital processing. Therefore, the output MTF data does not represent the absolute characteristics of the test lens. In reality, the characteristics of the measurement unit are sufficiently high compared to the performance of the test lens such as a general Digital Camera Lens, and the characteristics of the test lens appear in the practical area. In addition, the characteristics of the light source, filter, spectral sensitivity of the CMOS camera, etc. are values unique to this device, and basically cannot be compared with the designed MTF. Therefore, the standards used for judgment must be determined based on the data obtained by sampling several lenses to be tested using this device.
