About This Product

ODPA, also known as oxidized dianhydride or ODPA anhydride, is a solid that melts in the range of 225-29°C, making it more flexible than other commercial dianhydrides. It is also a little more reactive than BTDA. ODPA is mainly a polymer and is rarely used in epoxy resins, giving it unique properties in the production of free films and high-end personal electronics. Dihydroxydibenzoa is insoluble in anhydride (water dioxide). However, it is soluble in most organic solvents. It is produced by oxidation of diphenylmethane or other aromatic compounds. ◼︎Characteristics ・Excellent thermal stability ・Good chemical resistance ・Stable mechanical properties ・No flame inhibitors need to be added to the polymide to prevent combustion
