ACR1552U USB NFC Reader IV is a CCID and PC/SC compliant smart card reader with 13.56MHz contactless technology. This plug-and-play NFC reader features high-speed communication up to 848kbps and a built-in SAM slot to support key diversification and mutual authentication for added security for contactless transactions. The best feature of the ACR1552U is that it can support a wide range of contactless card types, including ISO 14443 Class A and B contactless cards, MIFARE® cards, FeliCa, ISO18092 NFC, and ISO 15693 cards. The reader supports USB firmware upgrades and can support contactless APDU command extensions, etc. This makes the ACR1552 a versatile and economically effective hardware for a wide range of industries including finance, healthcare, and government. ACR1552U also supports three NFC modes: ・Smart card read/write mode ・Card simulation mode ・Keyboard emulation mode (set with this tool) In addition to supporting payment functions, NFC technology can also be used in a variety of applications such as access control systems, transportation ticketing, and loyalty programs. The flexibility of this NFC reader makes it available for a wide range of applications and potential benefits.
