■AlignSight features

AlignSight sensors provide an affordable solution for vision-guided robotics (VGR) and stage alignment applications. Packaged as an all-in-one alignment solution, the alignment sensor provides high levels of accuracy without the need for an external controller to run the application. In a compact housing, AlignSight is easy to set up and calibrate, enabling rapid location and alignment of patterns and fiducials, even under adverse conditions or with significant degradation. With its high precision, automatic hand-eye calibration, flexible robot connectivity library, and PLC connectivity, AlignSight is ideal for equipment manufacturers, system integrators, and electronics industry end users who require highly accurate robot and stage alignment for assembly and process applications. ■Vision guided robot (VGR)

In electronic manufacturing, it has become common to use robots to perform pick-and-place and machine tinting tasks. AlignSight sensors support vision-guided robotic applications, including guided pick-and-place and grip misalignment correction using one or several cameras, and robot-mounted configurations where the camera is fixed to the robot and moves with it.
