Cognex's 3D-A5000 series is an area scan 3D camera that can capture high-resolution 3D images. It features 3D LightBurst technology to quickly capture images and maximize throughput. High-resolution 3D images and Cognex's industry-leading 3D vision tools enable solutions that increase accuracy and reliability for applications such as assembly verification, in-line metrology, and robot guidance. Due to its wide field of view and measurement range, the 3D-A5000 has been adopted in applications such as the automotive, household goods, and logistics industries.

■Reducing the time for 3D inspection

The 3D-A5000's 3D LightBurst technology illuminates parts with a unique blue light pattern to capture ultra-fast, high-resolution 3D images. It delivers full field of view (FOV) 3D point cloud images as fast as 200ms, enabling high throughput and cycle time reduction for inline applications where response time is critical.

■Provides accurate and reliable 3D visual inspection results

The 3D-A5000 produces high-resolution 3D point cloud images with over 1.5 million 3D data points. This high-resolution imagery, along with powerful Cognex VisionPro 3D toolsets such as PatMax 3D, allows the 3D-A5000 to solve a wide range of application challenges from assembly verification to inline measurement and robot guidance.
