About This Product

■Overview of construction method

EG Arc Tab is a new shape ceramic tab that combines the welding start and end quality of a steel tab with the workability of a solid tab. It can reduce the incidence of defects within the flange and make the reinforcement shape smooth. It is also easy to check the quality after welding. Features

■Arc start outside the flange

Forming extra layer around 18mm in length on the outside of the flange → Reduces the incidence of defects inside the flange

■Smooth residual shape

・Improved seismic resistance supported by experiments, reducing stress concentration at the beginning and end of the beam ・Increased proof strength of beam end welded part → Improved plastic deformation ability of beam end

■Easy to check the quality of welded parts

Improved UT inspection accuracy of flange ends, allowing visual confirmation of the number of welding passes after welding Example of reason for hiring
