About This Product

Yucatec W is easy to use among heavy materials for wooden flooring under the Quality Assurance Law (Housing Performance Indication), and is also used in government buildings. Features

■Yukatec reduces heavy floor impact noise

Reduces the loud and heavy "thud" sound that occurs when a child jumps (heavy floor impact sound). A wooden house using the Yucatec construction method achieved a sound insulation rating of LH-65. This is approximately 15 dB lower than the performance of the LH-80 class floor with no countermeasures.

■Yukatec also has excellent sound insulation properties.

Yucatec is effective in blocking not only floor impact noise, but also air-borne noise such as speech and audio products. When measured in an actual building, we confirmed the performance of the sound insulation class D-40 (equivalent to a sound insulation performance of approximately 40 dB).

■Yukatec has excellent fire retardant performance

In the event of a fire, Yucatec is working to significantly delay the spread and spread of heat and flames to the upper and lower floors, allowing time for evacuation in the early stages of a fire. Its effectiveness was also demonstrated in fire experiments conducted in full-scale buildings by the Building Research Institute and other institutions. Yucatec is generally designated as a fireproof covering material (45 minutes/1 hour) for semi-fireproof floors.

Yucatec W is used in many government properties. It will also have an excellent effect on rental housing and living support facilities for the elderly, where the supply will increase in the future.

■ Equivalent to the Quality Assurance Law Even among heavy materials with a slab thickness of 11 cm, it is extremely easy to use.

Among the heavy materials used in frame-framed wooden structures when installing joists, the only material that can be used alone is Yucatec W (applicable to ALC 70 mm or more) (dry construction method). Other materials are made of heavy materials by layering several sheets of material and adding plywood.
