■What is OnView?

The 3D microphone recording data analysis tool "OnView" is software that allows you to create a "sound map®" that visualizes sound from all 360-degree directions using inexpensive equipment.

■Product overview

OnView is software that calculates the spatial distribution of the intensity of incoming sound from data recorded with a 3D microphone, and easily and inexpensively visualizes sound sources in all 360-degree directions. Visualizing and displaying this omnidirectional sound source is called a "sound map®" and is expected to be used in construction sites that require a wide range of acoustic information. It was jointly developed by the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, Ando Hazama Co., Ltd., Sato Kogyo Co., Ltd., Haseko Corporation, and CAE Solutions Co., Ltd. ・Record and analyze directional information of all 360-degree sound sources using a commercially available 3D microphone ・Visualize the direction and intensity of sound coming from ・Simplify sound source detection and save labor at low cost ・Expected for application to daily life monitoring technology

■Features

・Reading WAV format 3D microphone data of A-Format and B-Format. Sound source waveforms of W, X, Y, and Z components can be displayed synchronously. ・Spectrogram color gradation display for specified time period ・Analysis processing of azimuth and elevation angles of sound sources and color gradation display ・Tone diagram display using polar and orthogonal coordinates ・360° images can be superimposed on the sound map results

■Implement various filter processes for pre-processing of sound source waveforms during specified time periods.

・A characteristic correction ・1/N octave band filter processing ・Band pass filter processing
