About This Product

■ High-performance calorimeter with unique design Compliant with ASTM / DIN standards The AC500 is an isoperivol calorimeter that features a water supply and circulation system necessary for calorimetry and a combustion vessel that simplifies sample preparation. It is a tabletop device that integrates all the systems into a compact unit and is easy to operate. Also, there is no need to install additional heaters or coolers. The Windows-based system uses an electronic thermometer to measure temperature every 6 seconds with an accuracy of 0.0001°C. It constantly monitors the temperature both on the outer jacket and on the calorimeter property and performs two channel corrections. The AC500 exhibits highly accurate analytical capabilities over a wide range of sample weights and usage environments. As an analysis method, LECO uses the "Isoperibol method (Isoperibol Calorimetry)". This method maintains the temperature of the jacket surrounding the bucket at a constant temperature while the water temperature in the bucket rises due to the combustion of the sample inside the bomb. A computer continuously monitors the bucket and jacket temperatures and compensates for heat loss to the jacket. The heat generated from the fuse and the amount of nitrogen, sulfur, hydrogen, moisture, and ash in the sample are also input into the computer and used to correct for the heat of formation of sulfuric acid and nitric acid. ■Analysis target Coal, coke, fuel oil, waste, etc.
