About This Product

Made from 6mm thick high-tensile steel material, it is drawn into a cup shape. We also perform perpendicular drilling on sloped surfaces.

■Product description

Air conditioner compressors apply a lot of pressure, so they often use thick plates made of high-tensile steel, which is a high-strength material. When pressing this, there are concerns about poor plasticity due to its high strength, but we use 6mm thick high-tensile steel material and draw it into a cup shape.

■Processing explanation

This product can also be used to drill holes perpendicular to sloped surfaces. When drilling perpendicularly to the inclined surface of a steel plate, excessive force is applied to the piercing punch and shape retention is significantly impaired, so the inclination angle has traditionally been limited to 30°. At our company, we were able to handle a 45° inclination angle by repeatedly making improvements to the punch tip angle and shape, punch material and surface treatment, and lubrication method during processing. This reduced the need for mechanical drilling, leading to cost reductions.
