About This Product

A flange with a 60° angle in the hole for pipe installation. Hole machining can also be done using a press.

■Product description

Traditionally, diagonal hole drilling on a flat surface had to be done using mechanical processing such as a drill due to mold life and quality issues, but we have achieved this using only a press.

■Processing explanation

・Since it is processed using a press, the processing speed is fast, and it has the advantage of maintaining stable quality in terms of hole diameter, hole pitch, burr height, etc. - Also, unlike a drill, the generation of chips is suppressed, so there is no need for deburring or cleaning after machining. ・This product has a request for a diagonal hole, but since the scrap part with the diagonal hole removed also has a sloped shape, it can also be applied to requests for a product with a sloped outside shape.

■Notes

-This product was created in response to a request to mount the flange diagonally to the pipe due to space constraints. ・The customer was initially thinking of using machine processing, but since the monthly production was limited to 20,000 units, they requested that we somehow use a press, so we decided to do so. ・We have a track record of producing 35,000 units/month at peak times. Furthermore, we are fully capable of handling large lots.
