About This Product

Parts for EGR cooler. This product is made up of a total of 24 parts of 9 types, including parts that hold the outer and inner parts at both ends, parts that hold the outer from above, and fins that are sandwiched between the inner male and female parts, and our company was in charge of manufacturing 18 parts of 8 types. By assembling most parts simultaneously at our company, we can significantly reduce the customer's management time and achieve higher mating performance and efficiency.

■Product description

This is a drawn product with a complex shape that is used by mating male and female mating, but in order to allow the customer to assemble it smoothly and to prevent cooling water from leaking during use, optimal clearance is required, and the end face clearance when mated is 0.16 mm. It has been adopted by major Tier 1 companies as it achieves both leak-preventing adhesion and workability during mating.

■Processing explanation

The outer material is made of stainless steel with a large springback, and the male and female parts are required to have contours on the order of 100%, but this can be achieved using the irregular shape press molding technology that we have cultivated over many years in the processing of fuel supply units. The inner groove and drawing shapes are processed in a progressive manner, and the accuracy of each individual item is controlled to ensure that the six sets are stacked and the outer fits together according to the standard system. The holders that hold these parts at both ends are also square drawn products that are difficult to achieve precision, but there are also two parts that fit together to cover the outside of the outer, making it possible to fit eight parts in total.

■Notes

Contour degree 0.08, flatness 0.1, mating length vertical tolerance range 0.06, mating clearance 0.16, protrusion height 0.05, hole diameter 0.1, etc., and many tolerance specifications.
