About This Product

This is a part of the unit that distributes fuel to the fuel injection device used in automobile engines. By switching from the conventional square pipe forming method to a two-part fitting method, the degree of freedom in shaping has increased dramatically.

■Product description

Previously, a square pipe was used for the main body, but there was a request for a complex shape to reduce vibration and noise, and since there were limits to what pipe forming could do, we devised a method and succeeded in creating a pipe shape by fitting drawn parts on top and bottom. Although liquid leakage is absolutely unacceptable, in many cases the product is assembled by the customer, so it must be easy to assemble. This is a product that requires advanced clearance management to achieve both adhesion and workability.

■Processing explanation

Basically, we check the compatibility of the main body parts processed with a transfer press, spot weld the brazing copper foil, etc., and then ship the product. Depending on the customer's request, all parts may be joined by caulking, spot welding, etc., and the product may be delivered pre-assembled so that the customer simply places it in a brazing furnace. Drawing technology for complex irregular shapes and fitting technology to achieve clearances of 0.1mm or less for straight parts and 0.2mm or less for curved parts are required.
