About This Product

This product is a product that brings together the best of our SUS plate processing technology that we have cultivated over the years, including full shear processing, internal stepped processing, sag-free processing, plastic flow forming, flattening processing, and minimal burr processing.

■Product description

Conventionally, press processing for thick plate flanges was based on the assumption that large sagging, burrs, and fractured surfaces would occur, so the method used was to punch out a material that was about 30% thicker than the specified dimensions, and then polish it on both sides to remove it to the specified dimensions. However, this method had various problems, such as wasting a lot of material, increasing the processing cost due to the huge amount of polishing, and being able to only handle shapes with flat surfaces on both sides. The HKTM construction method developed by our company has solved these problems and achieved a near-net shape of a complex 6.5mm stainless steel material.

■Processing explanation

・The outer periphery is completely sheared. ・As a SUS thick plate, sagging is kept to a minimum. ・The shear surface of the inner surface of the hole is over 90% (customer request is 70%) ・Stepped processing is applied to the inner surface of the hole. ・Burring is processed using plastic flow forming. ・Minimum burr processing minimizes polishing allowance.
