About This Product

This product replaces the cutting method. Although the nut spot process is an additional process, we have achieved a significant cost reduction of more than 90% (less than 10% of the product unit price) compared to the cutting process.

■Product description

Major dimensional tolerances: Hole diameter Φ9.5 (+0.02 to -0.01), hole roundness 0.1, hole inner surface roughness (Ra0.63), corner protrusion 29.6x15.6 (-0.1 to -0.2), corner protrusion neck R0.5max, and specified area flatness 0.2 or more, all achieved by press processing alone.

■Processing explanation

Initially, it was intended to be plate forged, but in order to improve formability, the product was changed to cold forging from ingot material. When we first started processing, additional machining by cutting and single-shot pressing was required after forging, but now we only need nut spot machining after forging and then shipping.

■Notes

Currently, we have a track record of shipping 120,000 units/month.
