About This Product

Challenge processing that far exceeds the limits of presses. We replaced the 34 holes that were previously drilled by machine with press forming, resulting in a significant cost reduction.

■Product description

This product has 34 holes of Φ10.2mm drilled in stainless steel with a diameter of 80mm and a plate thickness of 3mm.

■Processing explanation

In normal press working, it is said that the pitch between the holes must be twice the thickness of the plate, and if the plate thickness is 3 mm, the press working will not work unless the pitch between the holes is 6 mm. The minimum pitch between holes in this product is 0.95mm, which is less than one-sixth of the limit of press processing, so the customer had no choice but to machine all the holes. Naturally, we were very troubled by the increased production man-hours and costs, so we consulted with our company, and we began developing a press method. After many twists and turns, we succeeded in converting the entire process into a press (except for the finishing deburring barrel), resulting in significant cost reductions and making our customers very happy.
