About This Product

A press-made deep-drawn cup with an internal finish used for fuel delivery. Since it is a pressed product, it has excellent cost performance.

■Product description

・This product is a deep-drawn cup used for fuel delivery pipes. ・High surface roughness is required for the part that holds the fuel injector (fuel injection device), and we meet customer requirements with press processing. ・Since the cup side is welded to the square pipe of the main body, the side is flattened (D cut) and linear protrusions for projection welding are applied. ・Since the entire process is automated, the product is mass-producible, has high cost performance, and has excellent quality stability. ・We have been adopted by a major automobile manufacturer and are currently responding to orders of 600,000 units/month. ・Since it is a fuel delivery part, it meets quality requirements as an important safety part.

■Processing explanation

Drawing, forming, wire beading, and internal finishing are completed, and horizontal hole drilling, claw bending, and cleaning are fully automated in separate inline processes.

■Notes

・Inner surface finish: The inner surface is finished with a surface roughness comparable to a mirror surface using only press processing. ・D-cut shape: Because it is welded to the square pipe of the main body, it is narrowed to a D shape to ensure a flat surface. ・Line bead: Linear projections (beads) for welding are also attached by press processing.
