The eFlora 21® series is a new cleaning agent developed by Kaneko Chemical that contains naturally derived ingredients and is suitable for safe and clean working environments. This product is highly safe for the human body and the environment, as it does not contain bromine or chlorine in its compounds, and there are no pictorial or symbol indications indicating danger or toxicity in the GHS*1 hazard classification for the human body or the environment. . (Patented for liquid, system, and device)
The eFlora 21® series has excellent solubility in oil and can be used in a wide range of fields.
■Washability/Solubility
・Excellent ability to dissolve oil. (Light processing oil, silicone oil, silicone grease, etc.)
・Excellent compatibility with various solvents.
・Depending on the type, uncured silicone can also be dissolved.
■Environmental characteristics/safety
・Zero ozone depletion coefficient.
・The atmospheric lifetime (PF-8 10.8 years) is also shorter than the conventional HCFC-141b (11.4 years).
・Not applicable to the Fire Service Act.
・Excellent thermal stability.

"eFlora 21PF-8" is a nonflammable cleaning agent with a KB value of approximately 85. Although this value is lower than conventional brominated and chlorinated solvents, it is an excellent value among fluorinated solvents that do not contain bromine or chlorine. In addition to removing dust and particulates, it may also be applicable to degreasing and cleaning light oils such as silicone oil and low-year processing oil, and removing halogen-based lubricants and mold release agents.
