About This Product

■Summary

A paint that provides a coating film with a low coefficient of friction. Generally, oil or grease is used to lower the coefficient of friction, but it is difficult to prevent stickiness and dirt from adhering to the surface.

■Features

LubDry is a solid lubricant paint containing lubricant. It is used in places where oil, grease, etc. cannot be used, or in combination with them. The friction coefficient can also be controlled to around 0.08 to 0.2. Its low coefficient of friction can be used to easily move heavy objects and reduce mechanical damage.

■Lubricant

PTFE, molybdenum disulfide (MoS2), graphite, etc.

■Color tone

Black, blue, green, red, etc.

■Applications

・Automotive parts (mainly engine parts, seat belt parts, bearing parts, etc.) ・High tension bolt (torque coefficient adjustment) ・Key (sliding parts of toilets, etc.) ・Prevents stainless steel from galling

■​Coating for lubrication

​By coating with materials with low friction coefficients such as fluorine (PTFE) and molybdenum disulfide, stickiness and dirt adhesion can be dramatically reduced.

■＋Stainless steel flakes

The disadvantage of lubricating paints was that the paint film would wear away. If the paint film disappears due to wear, it is the same as the absence of lubricant. We solved these problems by containing stainless steel flakes. A feature of stainless steel coating is that it increases the hardness of the coating. ​This will prevent mechanical damage.

■With dipping

I changed the painting method. Simply dip the object into the paint and lift it out. Paint loss is almost zero. There is no more economical method than this.
