About This Product

This is a dedicated motion controller for PLC (Yokogawa Electric FA-M3). NC control and robot control can be easily used from PLC. This is different from the control of general positioning modules. Although it is a PLC module, it is independent and integrates robot control and NC control functions such as multi-axis interpolation, synchronous control, contour control, and electronic cam. Therefore, processing machines, multi-axis robots, winding machines, etc. can be controlled from the PLC without the burden of ladders. PLMC has many useful motion functions that can be used with any automatic machine. We help machinery and equipment manufacturers realize their know-how and promote the differentiation of automatic machines. In addition, by using the multitasking function, each station such as transportation, processing, assembly, and inspection can be easily controlled on the line with a single PLMC.

■Fine motion functions can be used flexibly from a PC or PLC.

All motion functions can be utilized from standard software or user applications on a PC. Furthermore, the motion controller can be controlled from the PLC, allowing more flexible automatic machine control.

■Can operate independently even without a ladder program

This is an independent motion controller that can be incorporated into Yokogawa Electric PLC (FA-M3). For the following reasons, the PLC motion controller can independently control processing, assembly, conveyance, winding, molding, synchronous machines, etc. without a ladder program. ・Built-in rich motion functions ・Control not only axes but also I/O, communication, etc. - Operates with driving program (G language/techno language) ・Memorizes all operating data and parameters Therefore, customers can concentrate on ladder design other than motion.

■Multi-axis, high speed, wiring saving, high reliability, torque control with MECHATROLINK

・Control cycle and number of axes - A wiring-saving serial network that is ideal for motion control. Achieved high reliability with the retry function (demonstration data about twice as high as other methods in terms of noise resistance). - Force and torque control for roll synchronization, film tension, forming, pressing, etc. is also possible using torque commands and torque limit commands.

■Powerful CPU power (1.4 times more for the high-speed version) for robot mechanism conversion and multitasking control

- Built-in mechanism conversion (vertical multi-joint, polar coordinates, parallel mechanism, etc.) supports a variety of mechanisms (customization). - Can control 8 machines in parallel. You can also manually operate other machines during automatic operation.
