About This Product
The AM800 disc mill is used for batchwise or continuous preliminary fine size reduction of medium-hard to hard-brittle solids. Disc mills can grind such sample materials to an average final particle size of approximately 100 μm. 100μm in one pass.

- Grinding discs made from four different materials ensure contamination-free grinding.
- The grinding chamber can be opened for easy cleaning.

■Accessories
- The material of the grinding set should be selected to avoid sample contamination and undesired abrasion. We have 4 types of materials available.
・For standard size crushing: For example, minerals with a Mohs hardness of 3 to 6. Hardened steel or manganese steel disc set.
- For very small size grinding: For example, a disc set made of tungsten carbide (WC), a mineral with a Mohs hardness of >6.
・Heavy metal free: For example, dental ceramic disc sets made of zirconium oxide.
- After long-term use, the grinding disc will show signs of mechanical wear. However, you can also use the opposite tooth by changing the direction of rotation of the motor before replacing with a new one. This significantly extends the service life of the polishing disc.
