■3D 360° full circumference scan of measurement target
Inline inspection of manufactured parts exhibiting rotational symmetry and micrometer tolerances has been a challenge, especially for complex parts such as spools and drills. A coaxial configuration and high-resolution OptoComb 3D scanner can be leveraged to overcome this challenge. We have developed OptoComb 360.
This is a unique system that combines an OptoComb 3D scanner with a rotating stage to scan objects 360°. This system brings a new visual and dimensional inspection solution to the table, allowing you to measure external surfaces of spools and other structures with rotational symmetry with high precision.
The solution covers a wide range of manufactured parts (spools, drills, step drills, driver bits, etc.) and provides direct access to their position, diameter, cylindricity, roundness, etc. Defects such as foreign objects, burrs, scratches, etc.
OptoComb 360 is compatible with all OptoComb 3D scanner configurations, allowing you to adapt its performance to your inspection requirements.
