About This Product

This rope is specially designed to be used as a fixed rope for the overhead line carrier HANAKO A2.

■How to installConnect one end to the front post. The other end is routed to the anchor side via the original pillar. The end is then connected to a manual winch attached to the anchor, allowing the fixed line to be tensioned and relaxed.

■How to tie fixed ropesThis rope does not have an eye (splice) at the end, so it is necessary to (temporarily) make an eye (temporarily) with a Prusik knot on the leading pole side and manual winch side. Please use a rope for Prusik knots that is sufficiently strong considering the strength of the fixed rope.

■SizeThis rope is designed for 100kg aerial transportation (or 200kg ground transportation) x transportation distance of 50m, and is only available in diameter Φ 14mm x length 59m. The reason why this rope's breaking strength of 10.1 TF is specified to be more than 100 times the load is based on the following assumptions.
・The effective tension on the rope is approximately 1 tf (10 times the load) depending on the tension.
・The breaking strength of the rope is 10 tf or more (10 times or more of the effective tension)
*When using wire rope as a fixed rope, the safety factor is normally set at 2.7 (a value based on the Industrial Safety and Health Regulations), but fiber rope stretches more easily than wire rope, so the safety factor should be increased by a factor of 10. I'm taking it. This safety factor includes a margin of strength to prevent plastic deformation (irreversible elongation) from occurring.

■Manual winchConsidering that the effective tension on the rope is 1 TF, please use a manual winch (products such as Chill Hall or Lever Block) with a working load of 1 TF or more. In the case of a lever block, a lifting height of approximately 3m is required.
